Founded in 1642, Montreal is one of Canada's oldest city. The metropolis is home to many historic buildings including Notre-Dame Basilica and the Saint-Joseph's Oratory. It hosted the International and Universal Exposition in 1967 and the Summer Olympics in 1976. Today, Montreal is mainly known for its bilingualism and multiculturism.
